What do I need to bring for my dog’s first day?
Just your dog, their lead, and their collar. We’ll take care of the rest.
Are all dogs welcome at Woofs of Ball St?
We welcome most dogs, but all pups need to be up to date with vaccinations and desexed if over 12 months of age.
How do photo and video updates work?
You’ll have regular updates through our social media channels, so you can see your dog enjoying their day in real time.
Is your dog day care and boarding safe?
Yes, our experienced and trained staff monitor all pets closely throughout the day. All dogs undergo temperament testing on their trial day to ensure a good fit with our pack, and playgroups are thoughtfully rotated throughout the day based on each dog’s personality.
Can you give my dog their medication or special food?
Yes, just let us know what your dog needs, and we’re happy to help with any routines or special care.
How doggy day care works
Get your dog settled
We take the time to understand your dog, creating an environment where they feel safe, happy and stimulated as they explore and connect with new friends. You’ll also receive a quick update 30 minutes after drop off to let you know how they’re going.
Enjoy regular dog pics
We’ll keep you updated with photos and videos so you can see your dog playing with other dogs and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine in our private courtyard.
Pick up and drop off valet service
Conveniently located in Mordialloc for quick and easy drop-offs, our Kiss and Goodbye valet service lets you pull up, say goodbye and be on your way without even parking.

Wilbur had his trial day last Friday and absolutely loved his first time at daycare. Brought him back today and he has never been so excited. Not only does he get to meet new friends he gets to mix with all types of breeds big and small as an 8 month old it is a great experience.
Liza is fantastic and happy to answer any questions and put my mind at ease. Was really happy to receive constant updates throughout the day too. Overall a fantastic experience for both fur baby and human. Liza and team you’re doing a great job, thanks for taking such good care of my boy!
Our Jack Russell, Freddie, absolutely loves Woofs! He’s excited to be dropped off in the morning & asleep in the car on the way home after the day. The photo & videos throughout the day keep us updated & show how much fun all the doggos are having!
Our sweet goldie had her first trial today and it went exceptionally well! Liza understood she gets a little nervous in new locations and handled it all with care. Koda had a great time and settled in well. We’ll be going back for sure!
I was nervous about how my anxious, reactive, little rescue doggo would go at daycare, and he has absolutely thrived at Woofs. He has gained in confidence immeasurably and is so excited every time we arrive at Woofs. It’s his home away from home and the tail wags tell me all I need to know!

We had tried out a few daycares for our furbaby. We tried woofs of ball street and have never looked back. This place is amazing and the owners genuinely love what they do.

Woofs of Ball Street is fantastic! Ralph absolutely loves it here and the team are so welcoming. It’s fun and Ralph is excited when the lead comes out on a work day morning - he knows he’s about to have a good time with his playmates and I know he’s in such good hands. Highly recommend!
